I didn`t want to bother Juampi again so this time my brother has been in charge of the editing, he even offered himself to do it. : ) He came up with quite a few interesting ideas like moving the rhythm guitar clip to the left, adding total contrast to the guitar solo clip, widening the latter & putting a gentle brightness to the Starman image ( to visit his channel go to www.youtube.com/user/MarianOctavarium ). This cover, like Hell´s Kitchen, was long overdue and I think that`s because they were waiting for me to discover the suitable way to make them real. It sounds crazy but know the results are much better than what they could`ve been months ago. As every Rush fan knows, 2112 is the band`s breakthrough album and a twenty-minute suite divided in seven movements. The lyrics were influenced by Ayn Rand`s writings about individualism. ( Fountainhead & Anthem ), therefore the “acknowledgement to the genius of Ayn Rand´´ below the song´s title included in the CD´s booklet. Neil Peart created a story based on his idea of a future society regulated by the Priests of the Temples Of Syrinx ( second movement ). In Discovery we learn that the main character of the story ( annonymous ) founds something that creates beautiful sounds but he doesn`t have any idea of what it is. He thinks everyone will enjoy “this new wonder´´, but in Presentation ( lyrics not included on my cover ) it is said that the Priests rejected the instrument by calling it “silly toy´´ and destroying it …
